However, most of the papers deal with: the closure of the State Dockyard in 1987; the Oakes Report on the finances of the Dockyard; private industry submissions; staff re-organisation; restrictive work practices; union restructuring proposals; ship repair and engineering proposals; power station condensers project; possible sale or lease of the Dockyard; Public Works Department Internal Audit Branch report; and outstanding matters.
