These correspondence files contain letters received, copies of letters sent, maps, plans, minutes and memoranda dealing with the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges and ferries. Many files are of a routine nature especially for the years 1907-10 which are complete. The 1911-14 correspondence was culled while held in the Department of Main Roads.
