This report outlines the terms upon which land was granted to settlers in both Van Diemen's Land and New South Wales. The volume also contains appendices A-T, which consist of government regulations controlling the disposal of land; a summary of lands surveyed from 1832; the amount of sales of Crown land to 1836; a comparative Table of staff at the Survey Department 1825-37; land sold in Van Diemen's Land 1828-36 and lands granted in the same colony 1828-36.
