These drawings appear to have been prepared by a Mr. McIllwraith before 1 March 1921. After the Second World War, Mr. McIllwraith, while working at the Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage Board in Sydney, was heavily involved in design rainfall studies resulting in the first Report of the Stormwater Standard Committee of the Institution of Engineers, Australia: "Australian Rainfall and Run-off". That publication has been the basis of bridge, culvert and road drainage design in Australia for the years to 1977 when a new design was produced.The sheet bears the Public Works Plan Room No. 131/54.
