Full description

The registers record under the date of the notice, the number, person's name, area and portion of the land. There is a precis of correspondence (numbers given) and action relating to the land and of the execution and transmission of the deeds. Notes include reference to counter claims, the filing of additional information and the readvertisement of the land.

The registers appear to relate only to land other than town allotments. From 1843 many of the grants are for churches and schools. Notices of the advertisement of caveats are included.
