The volume also contains remissions of sentences (pardons) issued by Paterson, many of which are annotated as cancelled by Goulburn on 9-11 October 1821 and on 9 September 1825. A microfilm copy of the fourth register in this series, covering part of the period of the Rum Rebellion, is located at SR Reel 2505. The grants in this register were declared null and void by Governor Macquarie (1) though many were later regranted by him.

This volume includes grants and leases made by Lieutenant-Governor William Paterson, from April to 30 December 1809. There is an index at the front of the volume.
