Full description

These are unregistered subject files containing correspondence relating to the administration of the Los Angeles office. Some of the files were created by the New York office, and when Los Angeles became the principal North American office, these files were transferred to Los Angeles where action continued on them.

The files consist of correspondence relating to major administrative and policy matters, monthly reports on tasks completed, registration of staff as foreign agents by the US Department of Justice, the closures of New York and Los Angeles Centres, employment policy, and files relating to the visits of Members of Parliament and senior public servants.
