These files concern hotels formerly situated in the Phillip Street Police Station Divisional Area which have been demolished or ceased to trade. They comprise applications for licences, renewal of licences, and reports and correspondence concerning any complaints or breaches of the Liquor Act.

The hotels are: Aarons; Assembly Hotel; Durban Club Hotel; Buston Hotel; Grand Central Hotel; Lion Hotel; Metropolitan Ushers Hotel; New York Hotel; Plaza Hotel; Royal Hotel; Tudor Hotel; and Victoria Hotel.
