Full description

This series consists of four volumes titled "NSW Criminal Photo Book" and numbered 116 to 119. The volumes contain photographic prints of criminal offenders in New South Wales. There are approximately twelve prints on each page with each print comprising one full face and one side view of the head and one full length view of each offender. Each print bears the name of the offender, the date on which the photograph was taken, the gaol number and the finger print classification. Each photograph of the full face bears a letter and figure denoting the key to the Special Photograph Cabinet at the Criminal Investigation Branch. Letters and figures underneath the full length photograph show the class of offence, together with the number of convictions. An index to each Photo book is tipped in at the back of each volume, except for item [8/2038].
