The abstracts give the name, position, periods of payment, yearly and daily rates, length of service, total pay and deductions, and the signatures of the receiving officers. The early abstracts note the condition of each officer, eg. whether free or bond. There are also details of employment, resignation, transfers and promotions of police officers.
