These files, which bear a "W" prefix, contain correspondence and papers relating to the proclamation of wildlife refuges and game reserves, and the management of indigenous animal and plant life.
They include applications for the dedication of wildlife refuges and game reserves; reports from wildlife field officers; papers re the regulation of agriculturalists, the use of pesticides and detergents and wild duck infestation in rice fields; submissions concerning duck and quail hunting seasons; and the culling of kangaroos and dingos.
These files are arranged through the classified "W" number system, and have a cover page followed by the contents of the file, held together by a split pin.
