The information given in these registers includes: style of co-partnership; description and locality of tenement; number of tenement; names of shareholders; shares created - date of registering and register number of shares; miners' rights - number and date; reference to lien register - folio and number of lien; transfer - number and date; transferee; and miners' rights - number and date. Sketch plans showing the location of tenements are sometimes included.

Volumes 7/10215-16 are labelled 'Transfer from Old Registers' and contain subsequent papers relating to the original tenements such as renewals of registration and notices of abandonment.
