Noel Davies

Brief description

Noel has over 40 years experience in organic mass spectrometry and associated gas and liquid chromatography, with an emphasis on natural products, pheromones and xenobiotic metabolism. He has around 200 refereed papers, an h-index of 34 and more than $5 million in grants as a chief investigator on research and equipment grants. He was a Churchill Fellow in 1988, in 2012 received the Royal Australian Chemical Institute Analytical Division Medal, and in 2013 the Morrison Medal of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Mass Spectrometry. He retired at the end of 2016 but in his current position as an Adjunct Professor maintains involvement in a number of projects.
