A series of evaluation workshops which enhance research in Information Access (IA) technologies by providing test collections (data sets usable for experiments) and standardised experiment procedures. The NCTIR project also provides a forum for groups interested in cross-system comparisons and IA evaluation methods for developing large-scale reusable data sets.
