Full description ## Working to make climate information relevant, usable and accessible With increasing demands to consider climate risks, decision-makers need tailored, easy to use information at their fingertips. Research-users need robust, climate change information and datasets that are trusted, readily understood and appropriate to their needs. They also need advice and guidance on when and how to appropriately use climate information, and when not to use it. Users have repeatedly stated their desire for an online gateway to discover and navigate the diversity of information - both new and old. This will allow users to understand the implications of rapidly emerging new information - as it becomes available. Staff turnover in management agencies creates ongoing demand for learning resources and easily understandable tailored products, capability-building training and best-practice guidance to inform decision-making. This project builds continues the hub’s work on delivering accessible and useable information. To do this effectively we are working with users and decision-makers to understand their information needs. In consultation with key research users, this project provides tailored communication products, climate literacy training, guidance, and advice on how to access and apply climate data and information. This research plan and scope definition includes 4 key activities: * Synthesis and communication program. * Delivery of training and guidance. * Delivery of climate information from a user-centred- designed information gateway. * Coordination of cross-hub conservation adaptation knowledge platform.
