Migration potential for seagrasses into mangrove 'ghost forests' in Moreton Bay, Australia

Research Project

Full description Ghost forests, remnants of degraded mangrove forests caused by extreme climatic events, may offer opportunities for seagrass colonisation. Limited research exists on the environmental conditions within these ghost forests and their suitability for seagrass habitat. This study aimed to characterise ghost forest conditions in Moreton Bay, Queensland, assess seagrass presence, and identify contributing factors.
