med.data.edu.au is a national facility to provide petabyte-scale research data storage, and related high-speed networked computational services, to Australian medical and health research organisations.
Infrastructure underpinning med.data.edu.au is located in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA and managed by Intersect, VicNode, QCIF and eResearch SA respectively.
med.data.edu.au is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS), Research Data Services Project, Research Data Storage Infrastructure project, and the Australian National Data Service.
