Full description This work has systematically investigated the tensile properties of hypo-eutectic Sn37Bi and eutectic Sn57Bi (in wt% throughout this work) under four strain rate conditions at four temperatures spanning from room temperature (RT) to 100°C. The microstructure of each condition was investigated before and after the tensile tests. Furthermore, the experiment results for each of the 16 conditions were fitted to an Anand model, which is a commonly used constitutional model for predicting the stress-strain properties of solder alloys.
