Full description

This map shows flooding between Oakhampton and Hexham. A note states that the map was "forwarded to the Honble. The Secretary for Lands and Works with the Surveyor General's letter of the 22nd Sept. 1857, No. 478". This letter, in [4/5418] (microfilm copy SR Reel 2845), recommends that the sketch be forwarded to the Chief Commissioner of Railways with a view to his further report. Scale 1" = 1 ml.
