Brief description

This record was harvested by RDA at 2023-06-06T14:39:30.036+10:00 from NCI's Data Catalogue.

Full description

As part of the Australian Lithospheric Architecture Magnetotelluric Project (AusLAMP), long-period magnetotelluric time series data were collected in the Musgraves Province between 2016 and 2018. The Level 0 concatenated NetCDF time series data from Earth Data Logger sites located in Western Australia are presented.

Credit

The Australian Lithospheric Architecture Magnetotelluric Project (AusLAMP) project was a collaboration between Geological Survey of South Australia (GSSA), the University of Adelaide, Geoscience Australia, AuScope and the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).

The Geophysics 2030 project received co-investment from AuScope and the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) to support the data curation at the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI Australia) (https://doi.org/10.47486/XN002). AuScope, the ARDC and NCI Australia are enabled by the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).

Lineage

Python was used for the generation of the NetCDF Level 0 products, which consist of a single concatenated NetCDF file per station per day for variables EX, EY, BX, BY, BZ. The MT time series metadata (based on https://doi.org/10.1080/14432471.2019.1600210) is attached directly to each NetCDF file.
