Field acquisition employed LEMI-423 broadband magnetotelluric systems hosted by the University of Adelaide and accessed through the AuScope - ANSIR Research Facility for Earth Sounding. The instrumentation was acquired through a combination of Geological Survey of South Australia and AuScope NCRIS funding. Continued availability of the instrumentation pool is supported through ongoing NCRIS investment via AuScope, including maintenance, calibration, refurbishment, and operational management activities. AuScope is supported by the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). Data acquisition was jointly funded by Western Areas Ltd and the Geological Survey of South Australia through Accelerated Discovery Initiative (ADI) project RD02-296, entitled Western Gawler Project: Magnetotelluric (MT), Passive Seismic and Magnetic Modelling Study.
