Our ancestor used to eat ragi (a plant like wheat) by husking in a big mortar and pestle. One man from Marip Kumja clan usually went hunting in a forest. When other people asked him what animal he got, he always answered that he got just Yu Chyit Yu Gang (means very small mouse) even though he got a deer. Whenever other people asked him, he answered the same. Then, other people named him 'N-gang' (under Marip clan of Kachin people) because he always said that he got just Yu Chyit Yu Gang even though he got other big animals.
