Full description

This dataset was collected by Eric Reichard at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis in 2013, as described in the linked article. Blue-dyed acrylic fibres were analysed by microspectrophotometry, followed by chemometric analysis on different fibre pairs to simulate "questioned vs. known" forensic comparisons. Statistical metrics were then calculated from the resultant data to assess the similarity of each pair.
