Full description
Genome-wide association study summary results of statistics for years ovulating, age at last live birth, and years taking the oral contraceptive pill performed in the UK Biobank in connection with the paper published due to be available publically. Details: We conducted GWAS of years of ovulating information, age at last live birth, and years of taking the contraceptive pill in the women from the UKBB, to obtain instruments for MR analyses, as there are no previously published GWASs of these traits which identify robustly associated SNPs. We used fastGWA in the Genome-wide Complex Trait Analysis (GCTA) software to conduct the analyses, which utilizes a linear mixed model to account for population stratification and cryptic relatedness. Imputed variants with an INFO score > 0.8, MAF > 0.0001, and missingness rate < 0.10 were used for the GWAS analyses, resulting in a total of N = 18,557,407 SNPs included. Covariates included UKBB assessment center, genotyping batch, year of birth, and the top ten genetic principal components. The total sample size for analyses of years ovulating, years of taking the contraceptive pill, and age at last live birth were N = 118,227, N = 178,233, and N = 203,153 respectively.Issued: 2023
