Man and tree game. This game was developed by the CARG group at the MPI (Nijmegen). It is designed to elicit descriptions of small scale space without the use of deictics. It is played as a Director-Matcher game. FSO uses cardinal directions. She is facing east and FEO is the matcher. FEO is sitting to the left of FSO. I haven't transcribed a lot of a hesitancies with using the cardinal directions. I think they are a result of the game, not of uncertainty with directions. 13:33min..
