Full description

The Geoscience Australia catalogue uses a profile of certain controlled vocabularies (codelists) from the ISO19115-1 metadata standard. A profile includes extra terms that are used by Geoscience Australia that do not appear in the original standard.

In this vocabulary, the catalogue metadata uses the MD_AssociatedResource entity to indicate associations or relationships between resource metadata records or business documentation. If these associations are used in a metadata record they will appear as an extra tab to the right of the "Technical" tab as an "Associations" tab. The vocabulary includes the ISO terms and the GA terms.

This profile is described in the Geoscience Australia Community Metadata Profile of ISO 19115-1:2014.
