The Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) collects, manages and shares information about geology and geophysics of Western Australia to promote investment in the resources sector leading to exploration and extraction of minerals, bulk commodities, oil and gas. Activities include the production of maps, reports and scientific publications that contain interpretations of tectonic setting, crustal architecture and geological evolution.
