Foundation Facilities Points

Brief description

The Foundation Facility Point product contains five facility types, Private Hospitals, Public Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities, Educational Facilities and Emergency Management Facilities. The Foundation Facility Point Database presents the spatial location; in point format, of publicly available data. Facility Points are derived from various sources and consistency is mixed across Australia.

Statement: Data supplied from the commonwealth, states and territories are passed through Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) workbenche(s) to standardise the datum to GDA2020 (EPSG:4844), perform base geometry validation and transform the attribute values to the national schema. No spatial modification has taken place with the source data, the attributes have been translated into the national specification. Educational buildings have ONLY been loaded for QLD, NSW, VIC and TAS due to licensing limitations with other states.
