Brief description
This website provides access to first fleet and early settlement, a digital collection of first hand accounts, diaries and letters of the men and women who emigrated to Australia in the first fleet, and in the early period of settlement in New South Wales. The first fleet and early settlement collection and supporting website is a joint project with the State Library of New South Wales.
The first fleet and early settlement website is part of the Australian Digital Collections website, which is hosted and managed by the University of Sydney Library.
