What level of awareness do men have about the experience of the construction environment for the electrical apprentices who identify as women.
The participation level of women in the electrical apprenticeship has been consistently around 2.8% since the 1980's despite many initiatives to encourage women into the industry.
The data will be collected through individual interviews with 11-12 male apprentices, the interviews will be recorded and interpreted in a way to paint a picture of the mens understanding of the construction industry for female apprentices.
