Full description

The data set is of eddy covariance (EC) direct measurements of air-sea CO2 exchange over the fringing coral reefs and open sea in the Gulf of Eilat, Israel. The EC systems included a RM Young 81000 3D sonic anemometer, Li-Cor 7500 open path gas analyser, Kipp and Zonen CNR1 radiometer, and ancillary sensors Measurements were made during late summer 2020 in Sept and Oct., at the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat, Israel (29°30'6.28"N, 34°55'3.67"E) and the Coral World Underwater Observatory in Eilat, Israel (29°30'15.44"N, 34°55'6.70"E). EddyPro® Software v7.0 (LI-COR, Inc.) was used to process the EC data which is presented unfiltered and without sike removal. Supporting data is also presented on SST and Chlorophyll-a from measurements made at Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences.
