Full description

This dataset was collected by Karin van der Pal and Mark Maric at Curtin University between 2011-2015, with assistance from Georgina Sauzier and under the supervision of Simon Lewis and Wilhelm van Bronswijk. Automotive clear coats from Australian and international vehicles were analysed using ATR-FTIR spectroscopy. Chemometric analysis was then carried out to investigate variations in the clear coat chemistry as a result of environmental exposure over 18 months.
