Full description
Duet, created by Stephanie Andrews, John McCormick and Jordan Beth Vincent is an interactive virtual reality artwork that explores the relationships between humans and an artificially intelligent performer to offer new perspectives on movement dynamics and identity. This time-based experience incorporates an elegant interface to gently encourage movement play and exploration. Duet poses questions about the nature of complex interactions that human participants can have with non-human, artificially intelligent entities in VR space and how movement can become the vocabulary for dialogue and interactivity with a non-human other.Issued: 2016
