Brief description
In 2012-3 Dr Sarah Colley is conducting research on use of digital media and technologies in archaeology and working collaboratively to develop digital products, tools and services for research, information sharing and public communication about archaeology and heritage. As Senior Lecturer in Archaeology at the University of Sydney (1990-2012) she has developed, coordinated and delivered teaching and research programmes in archaeological ethics and theory, heritage management, public archaeology, Australian Aboriginal pre-history and historical archaeology. Her earlier PhD and postdoctoral research investigated shells, mammal and fish bones from sites in England, Scotland and south east Australia to study human diets, economies and long-term environmental change.
