Tab 1 Raw data are the counts of the number of individuals of any given species found at each site, and also includes the absolute abundance data for diatom valves (not counting Chaetoceros resting spores) presented in valves per gram dry weight of sediment. Tab 2 Percent format is the same data, but converted to a percent relative abundance for each species. This dataset contains the abundance of diatom species found in the surface sediments from cores collected as part of the CEAMARC (Collaborative East Antarctic Marine Census) mission.
