Brief description

The data on head count and full-time staff equivalent (FTE) of all active public service employees of the department, includes VPS and Government Teaching Workforce, Ongoing Full time and part time, as well as fixed term and casual employees, for the last two years comparison, at June each year.



VPS workforce numbers included employees working at the Academy, VCAA, the VRQA, Merit Protection Boards and Disciplinary Appeals Boards. Employees in the Academy, VCAA and the VRQA are also reported in those authorities’ annual reports. Direct employees of VCAA are not reported in this annual report. GTS workforce numbers included employees working at the Academy and VCAA. These employees are also reported in those authorities’ annual reports.
