These files containing medical reports, inquiries, correspondence on the condition of stock at Bathurst and Trangie Experiment Farms, Hawkesbury Agricultural College, and Taronga Park Zoo. The Taronga Park Zoo file also contains newscuttings, quarantine regulations and importer's bonds relating to the zoo.

Also included is a special bundle on fur farming in New South Wales, March 1928-November 1929. The bundle consists of various reports and correspondence about the viability of establishing a fur farming industry in New South Wales, with particular reference to the desirability of the importation of fur-bearing rabbits.
