Full description

This dataset is the raw audio data resulting from a study to identify the presence of the Lewin's Rail, a species of bird in the Rallidae family that is found in Australia, and to describe biodiversity in the Cornubia wetlands. Acoustic sensors are being used to record Lewin's Rails' calling patterns and to test for the presence of Rails in new areas. The audio data is being collected by sensors positioned in the wetlands. At Septempber 2011, there were 14320 audio readings.
