These registers contain a summary record of all Conditional Purchases applied for in the Land District of Cootamundra, kept by the Wagga Wagga Land Board.

An application for a Conditional Purchase would be submitted to the Crown Land Agent, together with a deposit. Upon receipt of such an application, the Agent would forward the information to their Local Land Board, where all the details of the application would be entered into these registers. The entry would be given the same register number as that appointed by the Crown Land Agent.
