The research project also collected tourism official websites from four provinces in the eastern part of Indonesia. This was an ideal setting to collect the sample because of the information available and gathering of sources of total 345 regencies/municipalities of Indonesia. The sampling strategy resulted in total 3027 pictures and 73 covers from regencies/municipalities in several islands, e.g. Sumatera (27.5%), Java (17.5%), Borneo (15%), Sulawesi (17.5%) and the remaining were from East Indonesia (22.5%). This data set is the spreadsheet containing coding from tourism brochures of municipalities across Indonesia. We covered 40 regencies and cities all over Indonesia used brochures taken from official websites and social media account.
