Children’s Eating and Weight Study Phase 5 data. Conducted in 2026 at Scienceworks museum. Data are from children aged 5-12 years and their parent/guardian. Data include parent-reported questionnaire data (child temperament, child appetitive traits, child diet, parent feeding practices, parenting stress, demographics), and child-reported data on sweet taste liking, portion size decisions, food and taste liking, appetite self-regulation and knowledge of ultra-processed foods. It also includes data from a virtual reality experiment testing a VR education on UPFs for children. The study is aimed at understanding appetite self-regulation in middle childhood. Subjects
