This dataset contains the processed Expendable Bathythermograph (XBT) data collected on the Phillipines research vessel "Atyimba" in the Mindanao Sea off the Phillipines during June 1995, as part of the ASEAN-Australia Regional Ocean Dynamics Study. This dataset has been processed and is available from the CSIRO Marine Research XBT Group in Hobart. XBT data typically comprises temperature and depth readings relayed to the surface at intervals of 0.1 seconds as the probe passes through the top few hundred metres of the ocean.
