Full description
The Arthur Raymond Sloman Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of Arthur Raymond Sloman, who patented two innovations in chemical wood pulping while working for Associated Pulp and Paper Mills (APPM) in Burnie, Tasmania. The collection includes a largely complete run of more than thirty years of business diaries documenting details of his overseas trips, along with published articles and Associated Pulp and Paper Mills Research reports. It was published online by the eScholarship Research Centre in September 2009. Work on the Guide was started by the Australian Science Archives Project in 1998, and continued by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre. The records are held by the State Library of Victoria (MS 13702). The collection was listed by Barbara Cytowicz, Catherine Hall and Michael Jones.Data time period: 1998
