Altered brain-wide auditory networks in a zebrafish model of fragile X syndrome

Full description This project measured GCaMP6-fast activity in the 6 day old zebrafish brain, in larvae with or without mutations to the fmr1 gene, while white noise at various volumes were presented. Volumes ranged from 0, -3, -6, -9, -12, -15, -18, -21, -24, -27, -30, and -33 decibels from the full volume of 84 decibels. The purpose of this study was to identify neural response changes in hearing sensitivity that may present in fragile X syndrome.
