The Moulamein Police Station was established by 25 June 1849 when a Chief Constable was appointed. (1) By December 1863 the station was situated in the South- Western District and was staffed by a Senior Constable and a mounted constable. (2) In 1887 the land and premises for the Police Station at Moulamein were valued at £875. (3) A new police station building was completed in 1909 (4)Endnotes
