The Eastern Capital City Regional Council was formed on 11 February 2004 (1) and renamed Palerang Council on 10 December 2004. (2)
Palerang Council was dissolved on 12 May 2016 and merged with Queanbeyan City Council to form Queanbeyan-Palerang Council on 12 May 2016. (3)
