The Sub-Gold Commissioner, Stoney Creek reported to the Gold Commissioner in Charge of Crown Lands for the Western Gold District. Luke H. Sibthorpe held the position of Sub-Commissioner, Stoney Creek from 1 March 1862. (1)Henry McCrummin Keightley, Police Magistrate, was appointed a Gold Commissioner in the Western Gold District for the Gold Fields of Stoney Creek, Burrendong, and Buckinbah under the Gold-Mining Regulations of 21 March 1872.
