Full description
The Metropolitan Children's Court was established by the Neglected Children and Juvenile Offenders Act, 1905. The role of the Court was to hear and determine cases of offences committed by or against children. The Sydney Childrens' Court was established in the Metropolitan Police District on or about 30 September 1905. (1)
When the Bidura Children's Court at Glebe opened on 29 April 1983 the Metropolitan Children's Court at Albion Street closed. (2)
