Back Station Creek School was established in April 1903 as a provisional school. A provisional school was one established in an area where the school population was between 15 and 25 pupils. In January 1904 the School was converted to a Public School which continued until September 1918. From April to October 1919 and from June 1921 to December 1922 the School temporary operated as a half time school sharing a teacher with Kimo Half-Time School. In January 1923 the school was re-established once again as a provisional school and continued until November 1957. ) In November 1957 the School was upgraded to a Public School and continued with this status until its abolition in December 1968User Contributed Tags
