The Western Australian Marine Science Institution (WAMSI) has developed a Shark Bay Science Plan in collaboration with a range of stakeholders. A literature review on Shark Bay, and accompanying metadata synthesis, will contribute to the WAMSI Shark Bay Science Plan by providing the background knowledge for formulating priority areas of research. It also addresses the need for a resource describing all work in Shark Bay over various disciplines.
